Meet Bernard and Gifty Asare, our National Directors in Ghana. In the Chantan Community of Accra, Ghana; Bernard and Gifty work to bring the hope and healing of the Gospel to every person willing to listen. Bernard attended the Southern Ghana Bible Institute, received a degree in theology, and became a pastor. Gifty has a degree in social services. Their passion for community development led them to build the Star of Hope Medical clinic which provides free and low-cost healthcare to the local community of about 3,000 people. Gifty works as administrator and women’s counselor at the clinic while Bernard pastors the local church. They work by first ministering to their physical needs, then by presenting the Gospel Message to them and leading them to the Lord.
