Crisis in Myanmar (Burma)

In the wake of the devastating cyclone (Cyclone Nargis) one million people in Myanmar (formerly called Burma) are homeless.

It is estimated that 11,000 children died in the initial storm. With clean water in short supply, the price of food skyrocketing, and the government slow to accept international aid many more children and families will be suffering through the recovery phase.

“This is an enormous catastrophe,” reports an American missionary in Burma (name withheld for security reasons). “The destruction looks similar to the Tsunami and death toll will most likely be higher.”

Kids for the Kingdom is partnering with Myanmar nationals (trustworthy pastors and Christian workers inside Myanmar) to assess needs and to deliver and distribute aid. All gifts to Kids for the Kingdom for Myanmar Cyclone Relief will be used 100% for this disaster.

Pray that God uses the funds to reach and help those in most urgent need. Pray that God uses the disaster to open the borders of a closed country. Pray that the Gospel penetrates the borders and the hearts of the Myanmar people.

Gifts for Myanmar Cyclone Relief can be sent to:
