Each year in South Sudan, heavy rains create standing water which is a breeding ground for malaria carrying mosquitos. According to the World Health Organization, an estimated 90% of malaria cases worldwide occur in Africa each year.
During the 2014 outbreak, Kids for the Kingdom was able to treat over 2,000 people in the remote war torn villages of South Sudan. These people are the most affected and least able to obtain treatment for malaria. Each treatment costs just $2 to purchase and deliver.
Please pray that Rev. Garang would meet this year’s goal and be able to provide malaria treatments to the people in rural South Sudan.
