Our new poultry project is underway near Lusaka, Zambia. The farm is about 14 km down Nampundwe road from the junction with the M9 outside Lusaka. Our local team has purchased a small piece of land, drilled a well (there is no surface water there) and are setting up a poultry business and maize field in order to supply ongoing funding for the feeding program at our school in Ng’ombe as well as ensure other needs at the school are met. I just returned from a trip to the project and was able to walk the borders of the 5 acre farm and drink fresh water from the well.
