Kids
For The Kingdom
International
Day of Prayer
Friday, August
10, 2007
“Ask
the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into
his harvest field.” -
Luke 10:2
International
Day of Prayer.
The Bible reminds us to… pray at all
times, pray for peace, pray the Gospel is
declared, pray for the sick, pray for widows
and orphans, pray for those who mistreat
you, pray that the Lord be glorified, pray
for one another, pray that God gives life
and that all will be well, pray for the downcast, pray God’s
will is done, and pray for more harvest workers.
In keeping with these (and other) Biblical injunctions Kids
for the Kingdom has faithful prayer partners
praying on a regular basis. To bring even more focus to our
reliance on prayer we are setting aside
Friday, August 10,
2007 as an International Day
of Prayer. Children in Cambodia, India, Afghanistan,
Nicaragua, Russia, Ghana, and around the world will be praying.
Children at orphan homes, Christian schools, Bible Clubs,
feeding projects, and other programs and ministry venues will
be praying on that day. Join with the children and join us
praying for God’s hand of protection to be on our teams,
national workers, and volunteers. Join us as we pray for those
who hunger and thirst for righteousness and for those who
do not yet know about God’s love. A
few specific prayer needs…
