For may years Kids for the Kingdom worked with ‘His Resting Place’ – a maternity home for young un-wed mothers in Exeter, PA. Last year, major funding for ‘His Resting Place’ ran out. Nita Sarnak, director of Kids for the Kingdom’s USA program decided God was calling her to close the maternity home. Although the home is closed Kids for the Kingdom continues to partner with Nita and she continues to minister to several of the girls that stayed with her while the home was in operation. The last two girls to go through the program still live nearby and attend church with Nita, so she is able to maintain the bond she forged with them while they were a part of Kids for the Kingdom’s program.
Kids for the Kingdom also helps sponsor a youth basketball program in Santa Rosa, Ca at Stony Point Christian Fellowship each year where 250 children who may not otherwise be able to afford a basketball league are able to play in a well organized and positive basketball program each year.
