Description
In rural South Sudan clean water is located in deep underground aquifers that can only be reached by large drill rigs going down from 300 – almost 1000′ underground. The well is drilled, lined with pipe casing and capped. A concrete base and electric pump are installed to finish the well. Once completed, a deep water well can provide clean, safe drinking and cooking water for up to 3,000 people.
