Two years after Samuel Sunder Raj became a Christian he decided to leave his banking job and begin a career in ministry. “My family was very staunchly Hindu and deeply opposed me going to Bible College.” remembers Sam. Later, while attending Bible Seminary, Sam met his future wife Prema. Her family had Christian roots dating back several generations. Early in their marriage Sam and Prema Sunder Raj served on the staff of Youth for Christ. They currently serve full time with Kids for the Kingdom, running our India programs. Sam is a gifted speaker and boldly pronounces the Gospel – especially to children. Prema also has a heart for children and is a gifted Bible teacher. They minister to over 3,000 needy children in pocket slums, villages and back alleys through Kids for the Kingdom’s programs. Please pray for Sam and Prema as they continue to proclaim the Gospel message to a dark, lost nation who need Jesus’ love.
