Kids for the Kingdom El Salvador National Directors Carlos and Maribel de la Rosa have been working in the heart of San Salvador and in the outlying villages and jungle areas to combat the ever present gangs in their country with the Good News of the Gospel message. They show love of Christ to the children and youth in their programs to keep them from joining gangs.
Nearly half their country fled the violence caused by the civil war from 1972 to 1992 and in the years since, many youth have turned to gang activity due to poverty and family issues. Kids for the Kingdom team members provide Bible clubs, feeding programs, school tuition, tutoring and other programs for hundreds of at risk youth and children each week in our 4 Bible clubs in El Salvador.
