Maria, a little girl in the third grade at the Kids for the Kingdom school and feeding program in Nicaragua is excited to eat her lunch. The school and feeding program is one of Kids for the Kingdom’s oldest projects and underscores one of our core values. In order to eat lunch, the children at the school must bring 2 sticks of firewood to school. The firewood is used to cook lunch, and teach the children they need to work to be able to receive something in life.
